Our Providers

Dr. Gloria Ojo PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, MBA
Dr. Gloria Ojo is a seasoned healthcare provider with over 27 years of healthcare experience in various settings, including the ER, acute care, and outpatient clinics. She also served as Medical Director in an addiction outpatient setting in Annapolis, MD, and at an OMHC center in Lanham, MD. She is an avid mental healthcare advocate and speaker, highly sought after at colleges, faith centers, seminars, and advocacy organizations.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University
- MBA from the University of Phoenix
- Master of Science in Nursing (Family Practice) from Felician University
- Post-Master’s Certification in Psychiatry/Mental Health and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Brandman University
Dr. Ojo is dual board-certified in Psychiatric/Mental Health and Family Practice. She is passionate about global medical missions and mentors and precepts aspiring nurse practitioners and doctoral students. Dr. Ojo has been recognized and awarded as a Top Doctor of Nursing Practice in Maryland, USA.

Dr. Adenike Akonedo PMHNP-BC
Dr. Adenike is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and has over five years of experience treating individuals across the lifespan, including children ages five and older, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Adenike specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and psychotic disorders. Her clinical approach combines evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy support and lifestyle interventions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She has practiced in diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care environments, community mental health centers, and private practice, allowing her to effectively manage complex mental health presentations while delivering individualized treatment plans.
Known for her compassionate and collaborative style, Dr. Akonedo prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships where patients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her philosophy emphasizes holistic care, recognizing the important connection between mental, physical, and social well-being.
Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys reading current research in psychology and psychiatry, exercising, and spending time outdoors. She also promotes the mental health benefits of physical activity and connection with nature as part of overall wellness. Dr. Akonedo is committed to improving the mental health and quality of life of the individuals and families she serves.

Dr. Kimberly Swartz PMHNP-BC
Dr. Kimberly Swartz is a doctoral prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Maryland and a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She works to help clients through understanding their goals, listening to their needs, and keeps an open mind.
She treats people across the lifespan and particularly loves to work with older adults who are navigating late life challenges.
Dr. Kim strives to be an advocate for LGBTQIA+ clients and help them feel safe when reaching out for help. Outside of her professional life, she is an avid reader and music listener and devoted dog lover, finding balance and joy in quiet moments with a good book or a great playlist and the companionship of her pets.
She is an accomplished Clinical Research Nurse with over a decade of combined experience in clinical research, psychiatric nursing, emergency nursing, and health systems. Most recently, has been working on clinical research in psychedelic therapies for difficult-to-treat depression, spending more than three years collaborating with principal investigators on phase II and III clinical trials. She has developed team leadership and problem solving skills through this work, and work to bring a calm, organized, and analytical presence to difficult situations.
Previously, she spent several years as a Clinical Research Nurse at the National Institutes of Health, where she coordinated research protocols, performed validated psychological assessments, and facilitated communication among scientists, clinicians, patients, and families. Her earlier nursing career includes extensive experience in emergency medicine across major health systems—including MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, the University of Pennsylvania, and Virginia Commonwealth University—where I provided critical care, precepted new nurses, and participated in safety and quality initiatives. Before becoming a nurse, I built a strong technical foundation through roles in systems analysis and network engineering.

Dr. Folasade Fawehinmi-Alaba PMHNP-BC
Dr. Folasade Fawehinmi-Alaba, is a doctoral prepared national board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She’s fully dedicated to providing compassionate and evidenced-based mental health care across life span. She has over 20 years of experience providing care to individuals with mental illness, with her most recent experience in acute inpatient, outpatient and community care. She obtained a Masters and Doctorate degree from Walden University School of Nursing and Certification from American Nurse Credentialing Center( ANCC).
She’s passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals and provide a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. She’s inspired by the strength and resilience of her patients by empowering them to achieve their full potential. She enjoys spending quality time with my family when not providing care.

Karen Regis PMHNP-BC
Karen Regis is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduate of Walden University, where she earned her degree cum laude in recognition of her academic achievement and dedication to advanced nursing practice.
With over 16 years of experience in psychiatric and behavioral health, Ms. Regis has developed extensive clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of mental health disorders. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that integrates medication management with supportive psychotherapy to promote stability, resilience, and improved quality of life.
Ms. Regis is dedicated to reducing mental health stigma and increasing access to high-quality psychiatric services within diverse communities.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is a devoted mother of two daughters. She values travel and family engagement, which contribute to her balanced perspective and compassionate approach to care.

Kristen Foster PMHNP-BC
Kristen Foster, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of broad-based nursing experience. Drawing from her diverse clinical background, Kristen delivers holistic and culturally sensitive, patient-centered psychiatric care.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University, graduating with honors. Throughout her training, Kristen built a strong foundation in psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy across the lifespan.
Kristen is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing, and an active member of the American Nurses Association, The Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Kristen’s nursing career reflects her enduring commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. From supporting terminally ill patients in hospice care to assisting families through fertility treatments and post-surgical recovery, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional clinical judgment, therapeutic communication, and emotional intelligence. These experiences have profoundly shaped her integrative and empathetic approach to mental health treatment. Her approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
As a provider, Kristen strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. She is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, advocating for accessible psychiatric care, and fostering resilience through individualized, compassionate treatment.

Victoria Ojo RN, BSN
Victoria is a registered nurse with two + years of experience as a psychiatric RN. She serves as a Clinical Nurse Administrator and is deeply passionate about a holistic approach to mental health and overall wellbeing. Victoria finds joy in collaborating with the Holistic Touch Healthcare team to help patients reach their optimal level of health.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, expanding her expertise to better serve individuals and communities. Outside of her professional commitments, Victoria enjoys researching, singing in the choir, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Marcel Joseph Practice Manager
Marcel “MJ” is the Practice Manager Manager at Holistic Touch Healthcare, where he plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the office. He is responsible for coordinating communication between staff members, therapists, patients, pharmacies, and partner agencies, ensuring that everything runs efficiently. MJ takes pride in his work, focusing on providing excellent care for new and returning patients, reflecting the office’s patient-centered approach.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, MJ enjoys an active lifestyle and creative pursuits. He is an avid snow sports enthusiast and has a passion for animation. Spending quality time with friends is also high on his list of priorities, showcasing his balanced approach to life.

Jessica Carlson Spravato Care Coordinator
Jessica is a dedicated professional at Holistic Touch, where she began as a receptionist and has advanced to a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and is our Spravato Administrative and support specialist. In this role, she supports patients receiving Spravato Treatment for treatment-resistant depression, leveraging her expertise to provide compassionate care.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University, Jessica brings a strong foundation in advocacy and casework to her work in the medical field. Her personal and professional experiences, including living in various regions as a military spouse, have instilled in her a passion for community engagement and a commitment to kindness and respect.
As a proud mother of two, Jessica is known for her warm demeanor and genuine smile, ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for.

Alyssia JacksonMedical Receptionist
She serves as the Medical Receptionist at Holistic Touch Healthcare Services, where she is often the first point of contact for patients visiting the office.
Alyssia recently graduated from high school and is currently attending college with the goal of becoming a Shock Trauma Registered Nurse.
Alyssia is passionate about helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported during their visit. She takes pride in creating a positive and friendly environment while assisting with scheduling, check-ins, and ensuring patients receive the care and attention they deserve.
Through her role at Holistic Touch Healthcare Services, Alyssia continues to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while working toward her long-term goal of serving patients in critical care as a trauma nurse.
