No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy
At Holistic Touch Healthcare Services, we strive to provide timely and high-quality care to all of our patients. In order to respect the time of our providers and other patients who may be waiting for appointments, we kindly ask that you notify our office at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
No-Show / Late Cancellation Fee
If you fail to notify the office at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or do not attend your appointment, a $80.00 No-Show/Late Cancellation fee will be charged. This fee is the responsibility of the patient and will not be billed to insurance.
Repeated No-Shows
If a patient has three (3) no-call/no-show occurrences, the patient may be dismissed from Holistic Touch Healthcare Services.
Appointment Reminders
As a courtesy, patients typically receive automated reminder messages via text or email one to two days prior to their scheduled appointment. When time permits, our staff may also place reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
Please note that failure to receive an automated reminder or phone call does not waive the No-Show/Late Cancellation policy, and the above policy will still apply.
New Patient Appointments
If a new patient fails to attend their scheduled initial appointment without prior notice, they will not be eligible to reschedule a new patient appointment with our practice.
Unforeseen Emergencies
We understand that unexpected emergencies can occur. If you experience a situation that prevents you from notifying us in advance, please contact our office manager or receptionist as soon as possible to discuss the possibility of waiving the No-Show fee.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as this policy allows us to better serve all patients and maintain timely access to care.
